Take the classic arcade Bubble Bobble game to a new level by playing the new Bubble Bobble: Legacy. The free video game includes 100 new levels that ensure you never get bored.
Your task in the game is to control a brave little dinosaur called Bub who fights against evil monsters. Bub blows bubbles that catch and blow away enemies. Bub has to go through mazes, and different levels have different mazes, making the game ever more challenging. While Bub can jump right through the mazes on his way up, he must follow available paths when going down.
You can get different bonuses along the way, including vegetables, fruits, candy, jewelry and crystals. When Bub hits trapped monsters, they turn into fruits, and eating the bonuses give you more points, allowing you to progress faster up the levels. Different types of awards give you different score points, ranging from 250 to 3,500.
The level you are in and the points you amass appear on the top left corner of the user interface.
You need to destroy all enemies in a given level to move to the next one. As expected, the higher the level you reach, the more challenging the game becomes. When you hit targets that give you high marks, you will progress relatively faster up the levels.
Some bonuses apply immediately while others remain active for a while. The bonuses give you different abilities, including increasing the rate of firing bubbles, their speed, distance they travel, turning killed enemies into diamonds, making the dragon breath fire, earn more points per blow or jump and even killing all enemies on a map.
Each enemy has unique characteristics, such as firing ability, jumping ability and speed. The monsters cause harm when they get in contact with your little brave dragon.
