If you want a simple program that you can use to take notes and make quick sketches, then NoteItAll is the answer. The software is compatible with both desktop and tablet computers, and it accepts different input devices, including keyboard, mouse and stylus. Its touch-enabled display allows for finger-scrolling and taking handwritten notes.
You should familiarize yourself with the user interface, and the program makes it easy for you by opening a sample note when you launch it for the first time. The sample note includes a diagram showing you its various features.
When you open a new document, the interface displays a ruled writing space that resembles a notebook page. If you want to use the handwriting feature, then simply start writing because the program selects the Freeform Ink button by default. You may also make sketches in the same way, using the mouse, a stylus or even your finger depending on your device. You may change the ink color or select different buttons to activate the tool you want. These are area fill, line drawing, ellipse drawing and rectangle drawing tools.
If you want to use the keyboard, then press and hold the left mouse button until you see a vertical line. You can then type what you want and use it as any other word processor. The program allows you to include both types of writing in the same document. You can even create space for handwritten text in an existing document using the Space Tool.
In addition, the program allows you to create a moving space, a blank area you can shift around and write in. You can change font and erase or delete text.
The best way to create a drawing is by adding a drawing area first, which may display a lined graph paper, dotted graph paper or blank paper. You can either create a drawing from scratch or insert an existing one and then resize both the image and drawing area.
You can print your document or save it in three different ways. You may save it to NoteItAll filing system, export it outside the system or save a snapshot of the visible portion.
